The Workfront internship experience is a proactive and engaging environment, with a framework focused on mentorship and our contagious culture. Workfront has a goal to convert 75 percent of all internships to permanent roles in the company. Realizing you make a difference on a team, allows you to speak up, stand up, and stand out. As managers and students engage in projects, the end goal is to prepare you for real business experience and begin your mark in the professional world.
Activities throughout the semester include a Leadership Lecture Series. Interns engage with Directors, VPs, and Executives in discussions about career pathing, leadership skills, and personal development.
Mentoring is an integral part of what is offered in the Workfront internship experience. Managers are asked to give interns meaningful projects, to guide them through areas of learning, and to give feedback when needed. Regular one-on-ones allow open communication for growth and learning.
If you’re willing to put in the hard work you’ll be rewarded by all the normal things a great internship should give you like a cultivation of new skills, great references, and a stronger portfolio; but at Workfront interns are also rewarded by all the awesome perks and benefits Workfront offers their full time employees too.
Workfront facilitates learning from leaders in various departments in the company, which helped confirm to me that I was on the right path to end up in the job I knew I wanted post-graduation. I feel supported and heard, and my coworkers are some of the best people I’ve ever met. Everyone works hard and humbly, and we have fun.
The work was relevant, challenging, interesting, and extremely valuable to my future career. Not only did I love my role, but I loved my team and Workfront as well. Throughout my internship, I found that the culture promotes learning and development, encourages individuality, and is anchored in equality and kindness. I can’t recommend Workfront enough.
